Chamber Newsletter - 14th October 2014

Entering Awards can be extremely good for your business, not just for the recognition from your peers, but also for raising your business profile and credibility within Cornwall.

THE REWARDS

Frugi, (a Cornish company based in Helston) said – “Besides the publicity in winning and the pat on the back for everyone involved with your business, the rewards also lie in the actual process of applying. The very act of analysing your business, questioning why you do certain things and writing them down is a great way to see opportunities that may exist that you may not have previously been aware of”.

Entries for nominations are now open for the 2015 Excellence in Business Training awards, and winners will be announced in January.

We hope that 2015 will be a great year for raising the Business Profile of the St. Austell area as a whole and with that aim in mind will endeavour to keep you informed of as many business events, conferences, training and networking opportunities as possible.

Without doubt, the highlight of next year’s calendar will be Cornwall Business Week in May, where the Eden Project will host the Business Fair. This will be great opportunity to put the spotlight on St. Austell as a great place for business. So it pays to be early if you want to be involved. Plus the Cornwall Business Awardsat the end of week is always the ultimate celebration of Cornish business and entrepreneurs.
