The Quarterly Economic Survey - Cornwall Chamber

The Quarterly Economic Survey - Cornwall Chamber

Cornwall Chamber have just opened the Quarterly Economic Survey.

PLEASE TAKE PART as this is the only economic evaluation of Cornish businesses and will be used by Cornwall Council and the LEP to determine strategy in the future .

Info as follows:

The British Chambers of Commerce Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) is the largest and most representative independent business survey of its kind in the UK.

The survey takes less than 3 minutes to complete online.

The QES is a vital survey to take part in, as the more businesses that complete the survey, the louder the voice of business in Cornwall.

The Cornwall and IoS LEP and Cornwall Council constantly ask for this data as it is the only comprehensive, long term data available for the Duchy.

In the months to come this data will be used to inform decision makers on the state of play for businesses in Cornwall and what needs to be done to create the vibrant economy Cornwall deserves. The business community want to take responsibility in shaping Cornwall's future economic landscape - this is one way to do it. Nationally the BCC QES is the first economic indicator of the quarter, published in advance of official figures and other private surveys, and it consistently mirrors trends in official data. For this reason the survey is closely watched by policymakers such as the Treasury, the Bank of England, the Office of Budget Responsibility, the EU Commission and the IMF.

Wouldn't it be great if Cornwall's voice was the loudest!
