Ocean Services was named Boiler & Renewables Installer of the Year at last week’s National Green Deal & ECO Awards 2014.
The award recognises not only the St Austell company’s work installing boilers and renewables throughout Cornwall, but also its commitment to working with partners such as Cornwall Council to raise awareness of the Green Deal and eco initiatives.
Ocean’s MD, Howard Brett, said: “We really welcomed these initiatives and strongly believe they have a major role to play in the reduction of fuel poverty.”
At a ceremony held in London on Thursday 29th May the award was presented to Ocean’s Jason White and Heather Turner by TV celebrity Rory Bremner.
The company had previously won the south-west regional award and competed against 16 finalists from around the UK to finally win the national title and bring it back to Cornwall.
